The great growth opportunity for Crackle is in being able to adapt to all the pay-TV operators, commented José Rivera Font, VP and general manager of Digital Signals at SPT Networks Latin America. “All the markets are important and we have developed a business model that applies to all types of operators, big or small,” he says.
He highlights that the market has received Crackle with his arms open wide, and that is proven by the 40 agreements they have signed with the operators of the region. “At the end of this year we hope to be in all the markets in Latin America with at least one operator,” he expressed.
When consulted on the business model that Crackle represents, Rivera highlighted: “My hope is that it is a very productive business for the industry. We were not the first but we have learned from what has been launched before and are establishing foundations. There will possibly be other programmers in the future with a differentiated model like the one Crackle has started to achieve in the region.”
