Spain’s National League of Professional Soccer: We’ve tripled our broadcast rights revenues since we partnered with Mediapro

During his visit to the Imagina US facilities in Miami, Javier Tebas, President of the Spanish National League of Professional Soccer (LFP), spoke to PRODU and praised Imagina US and Mediapro.“Spanish soccer has been with Imagina US and Mediapro for over 10 years and it has grown a lot. Ever since Mediapro acquired the broadcast rights of Spanish soccer we have tripled our rights revenues,” said Tebas.The executive expressed enthusiasm with the growth of the soccer market in the U.S. and said LFP is planning to open its own offices in the country. “Part of the new LFP strategy includes the U.S., a market we’ll be paying close attention to. We believe we can still experience significant growth,” he said.Tebas also made reference to the three-year alliance with channel beIN SPORT, which Imagina US distributes in the U.S. “We’re happy to see the growth and believe being associated with a brand such as IN SPORT is outstanding. We hope to be partners for many more seasons to come,” he added.
