For LA Screenings, Sony Pictures Television is presenting several pilot programs: María Magdalena, El Rey del Valle, La Guzmán and La Conquista, as well as other non-scripted programs.

“We are focused on good stories, regardless of the topics or genre. We have produced comedies, narcoseries, dramas with few episodes and others that have 60+, and the game or entertainment spaces,” commented Álex Marín, International Distribution EVP for Latin America, the Caribbean and Canada at Sony Pictures Television Networks Latin America.

He expressed that the strategy is to be a company that has big stories to tell. “That is why we distribute films with good stories, like Baby Driver, our series produced in the US (The Blacklist, The Good Doctor), and in Latin America Paquita La Del Barrio, María Magdalena and Atrapada. We are centered on having a variety of content that manages to satisfy the different demands in the region,” he expressed.
