Andrés Barragán has been named director of Light Entertainment for Teleset, a Sony Pictures Television production company based in Columbia and Mexico City. In this role, Barragán will oversee development and production of entertainment formats for the company.

From post-production to editing, copy writing, directing and branding, his creative insight and production know-how makes him an excellent fit for this role,” said Angélica Guerra, SVP and general manager of Production, Latin America and US Hispanic for Sony Pictures Television (SPT).
Barragán has worked across various divisions of Teleset for almost 15 years. He most recently served as Head of Technology and Post-Production, where he oversaw design and implementation of the SD to HD transition workflow, as well as designed and implemented a brand new facility in Mexico City, grew Teleset’s post-production unit from seven to almost 50 stations, and supervised a post-production team of more than 60 professionals.
Barragán joined Teleset in 2002, making on-air campaigns for fiction and non-fiction shows.
