José Antonio Hidalgo has been named VP, Ad Sales, Networks, Mexico for Sony Pictures Television (SPT). He will report to Irving Plonskier, senior vice president and general manager, Ad Sales, Networks, Latin America & Brazil for SPT. José Antonio comes to us with an impressive track record in sales marketing and business development, a deep understanding of the market, as well as strong client relationships. As the proliferation of digital continues to reshape the pay TV landscape, particularly in Mexico, his extensive new media experience makes him the perfect choice to lead our channels sales efforts across the country, said Plonskier. Most recently, Hidalgo was VP at Vubiquity, where he was responsible for all sales and business development for the content services provider across Latin America.
