Semillitas adds the show Fireman Sam to its programming

The animation channel Semillitas, owned by SomosTV, announced the addition of the children show Fireman Sam to its programming.

Starting on December 1st, this new series meets the educational requirements that have always been parts of Semillitas, reinforces the internationally recognized animated shows that characterizes the children’s channel.

The series (originally produced in the United Kingdom) has been distributed in 40 countries and translated in more than 25 languages.

Fireman Sam teaches emergency safety for preschoolers in a manner that is adequate to this delicate audience. Because of its great content, the show has been on the air for more than 30 years in channels such as BBC1 and ABC Kids.

“Incorporating Fireman Sam to Semillitas is very satisfying because it educates the youngest ones about safety measures and pro social behavior, both values that we promote a lot in our channel,” said Luis Villanueva, president and CEO of SomosTV.
