Gascue underlined the importance that the US writers’ strike has for the industry, recalling that when it happened in 2008 a lot of money was lost, but there were those who took advantage of that opportunity and succeeded.
“It is a very important moment and opportunity for all writers in the region and not only in Latin America but also for us in Secouya in Spain. There we have all the production capacity and the ability to contribute with ideas, and I think it is a key moment for us in the industry of this side of the world to take advantage,” commented Gascue.
For Gascue, the market has been packed with meetings with recurring clients and with new and prospective buyers, and at the same time, there has been an increase in conversations with possible strategic alliances.
