At the Televisa facilities in San Angel in Mexico City, producer Salvador Mejía officially introduced to the press his new telenovela La Tempestad. It stars Ximena Navarrete and William Levy and premieres next Monday May 13th at 9:30pm. He announced the sponsors, which include LOréal and Alpura.Mejía thanked his cast and technical team for their support on the project. This would be his second novela on air, joining Qué Bonito Amor. He also thanked his sponsors, to whom he said: I hope audiences like the story to reward your trust in the project. Mejía acknowledged those on board, which include El Cano hotel, lingerie brand Ilusión, Alpura dairy products, LOréal, TV Promo and Tuny tuna.During the presentation, which was hosted by former Miss Universe Lupita Jones, and featured musical performances by Daniela Romo and Francisco Céspedes, Mejía announced Alejandro Fernández with Christina Aguilera would interpret the main theme.William Levy, Ximena Navarrete, Iván Sánchez, Daniela Romo, César Évora, Mónica Miguel and Manuel Ojeda, lead the cast of La Tempestad.
