To contribute their grain of sand in this situation, Miguel Somoza, CEO of Sabbatical Entertainment, is considering the possibility of uploading for the first time, their children`s content –Planeta de Niños, Naturaleza Humana and El Mundo es Tuyo– to the YouTube platform for free for a promotional period.
“We are thinking about placing all this content on YouTube for the first time to give parents options for their children to be entertained and stimulated during this stage,” explained Somoza.
The executive said this situation generates greater consumption of the inventory which is positive for Sabbatical because it implies there is more need for content. The company´s production model may be executed remotely. “I have editors worldwide and they can continue working the material,” he detailed.
Regarding distribution, he mentioned that in these days he has received responses via e-mail from clients interested in their material. “Now people do have time to sit down and answer e-mails.”
“Our entertainment community becomes more important in moments like this. Entertainment content acquires greater presence,” he furthered.
Somoza also highlighted that due to the fact that the launch of the 25th James Bond franchise film was postponed until November, Sabbatical has additional time to generate more content around their documentary For Our Eyes Only. “We had a 10-spot package of curious facts that range from 25 seconds to one minute, and now we are going to duplicate it. These capsules serve both as promotion and for digital,” he expressed.
