RTVE: We present the children’s channel Clan to create merchandising around the brand

RTVE presented to the industry the children’s channel Clan, a signal that has successfully been aired in Spain for 12 years, exceeding channels such as Boing (Mediaset), Disney Channel (Disney) and Neox (Atresmedia), according to Kantar Media in the 4 to 12 year age target.

“The channel is available on HD and we have brought it to Latin America to complete our portfolio of channels available in the region and because additionally, an entire world can be created around the brand with products for school, toys and music,” says María Jesús Pérez, Channel Sales Manager at RTVE.

Clan´s programming is focused on boosting children´s imagination and creativity, as well as transmitting social values such as tolerance, friendship, solidarity and companionship.

Some of the programs the signal presents are: Big Band Clan, Desafio Champions Sendokai, Bat-Pat, Pumpkin Reports, 4 Amigos y Medio, Yoko, Invizimals, Los lunnis, Cocina con Clan and Sandra Detective de Cuentos.

Alongside the presentation of the channel, RTVE is seeking distributors for this channel, which, according to María Jesús, would complement very well cable operators’ grids.
