More than a week after its launch, when it reached audience levels above 2.9 million people, the series Like, La Leyenda, a production by Pedro Damián, aired on Monday to Friday at 6:30pm on Las Estrellas, will have two seasons, with shootings in Japan and Brazil, as well as the official launch of the music group that is on the story of Like.
The producer assured that, since it is a multicultural story, inclusion is a relevant topic for him, which is why “we will start shooting in Israel, with a young Israeli who is traveling there to learn about his culture, but in a second delivery we will travel to Japan ten days to shoot two episodes and a half; after, we will do the same in Brazil,” he commented.
He highlighted that, between one season and the next, Televisa will have another production, which will “give us time to prepare the second part, as well as to tour with the music group, made up of eight members of the series, who will travel to different countries to present the show. We have already started in events like Premios Juventud or the Kids’ Choice Awards Mexico”.
Finally, he mentioned that current products cannot be seen as TV programs, “but as multiplatform content. Our job is to generate different formats for each one of the screens and that way contribute to the expansion of our project. That is why I think melodrama will continue to be king, but we must adapt to technology and audience preferences.”
