La Niña, produced and distributed by Caracol, is based on real-life events and tells the story of Belky (Ana María Estupiñán), who—after escaping a forced life of servitude as a child soldier in the Colombian guerilla—works to reintegrate into society and overcome her traumatic memories with the help of a doctor-turned-mentor (Constanza Camelo) who takes Belky under her wing and encourages her to pursue a career in medicine. The compelling drama was a #1 primetime series in Colombia with over a 33 audience share and an 11 rating.
La Niña stars award-winning Colombian actors Ana María Estupiñán, Sebastian Eslava, and Juan Sebastián Aragón.
The series will air Sundays on Pasiones.
