ViacomCBS Networks International (VCNI) unveiled Paramount+ as the brand name for the company’s premium subscription video-on-demand service, building on a legacy of innovation and superior storytelling that distinguishes one of the most iconic brands in Hollywood.

Beginning in Q1 of 2021, VCNI will relaunch Paramount+ in Latin America and the Nordics and rebrand and relaunch 10 All Access in Australia as a new supersized premium version of Paramount+, which will exclusively feature Showtime and CBS All Access Original Series premieres, Paramount+ originals and series from CBS Television Studios, Paramount Television Studios, BET, Nickelodeon, MTV brands and more.

Additionally, ViacomCBS announced today it will rebrand the company’s transformed subscription video-on-demand and live streaming service, CBS All Access, as Paramount+ in early 2021.

David Lynn, president, and CEO, VCNI, said, “With the global launch of Paramount+ we are poised to become as powerful a player in streaming as we are on TV. VCNI is focused on building a meaningful, global brand presence in our key markets, generating material advertising, subscription and licensing revenue from streaming.”

“The new Paramount+ marks an exciting new era for our consumers and partners in Latin America. We are excited to offer more premium content from our beloved ViacomCBS brands with this new streaming service,” commented JC Acosta, president of ViacomCBS Networks Americas.

The new Paramount+ premium streaming service will offer additional new original series, which will be available globally in 2021. In Latin America, the first original series is Cecilia, produced by ViacomCBS International Studios and created by Oficina Burman.

Other series include Lioness, a spy drama created by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone) with Sheridan, Jill Wagner, David Glasser, David Hutkin, and Bob Yari set to executive produce.

In addition, the service plans to create a one-of-a-kind music documentary series unlocking MTV’s vault, which chronicled the last forty years of music through the eyes of the artists who make it – starting with the first series, the reimagination of Behind the Music.

The service also has ordered The Offer, a scripted series from Paramount Television Studios based on producer Al Ruddy’s extraordinary never revealed experiences of making The Godfather.

The new original series and two projects in development join Kamp Koral, a new original children’s series from Nickelodeon’s Spongebob Squarepants, which will also be available on the service globally.
