Original series Escándalos is the top VIP 2000 product for NATPE 2015, told PRODU, Rosalind Rotundo, vice-president of VIP 2000.Escándalos is an original idea of the company. We are currently producing episodes in Venezuela, Mexico, the U.S. and Panama. These are internationally recognized scandals, made into one-hour fictions so that channels can program them daily or weekly, commented Rotundo. To boost promotion of Escándalos, VIP 2000, in association with PRODU, launched a campaign for clients to suggest scandal stories, where one will be selected and produced.Another important project this year is Buda, the super production shot in India.This year were going to concentrate on meditation. We have a great production made in India: Buda, a 55-episode telenovela that tells the story of Buddha from birth to illumination, with production value never before seen in Latin America. The novela is currently being dubbed and will be available for distribution this month, said Rotundo.Additionally, the company will present new titles from the agreement struck with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, among them The Hobbit 3, Robocop and Hercules.At NATPE, the company will officially introduce its business unit +lab. Our representative for this service is KM Service, which will available at Natpe for all suppliers and distributors to re-master their libraries, said Rotundo.
