Ony Productions: With confirmed protagonists and starting production of Candela, Una Chica Real in Mexico City

Young Venezuelan actress Sheryl Rubio will bring to life the character of Candela
Hugo Devana, VP of Production and Content of Ony Productions, told PRODU that on August 25th the company will kick off production in Mexico City of the youth series Candela, Una Chica Real (80×60), scheduled to go on for a week.The series stars talented Mexican actor Vadhir Derbez and young Venezuelan actress Sheryl Rubio, who will bring to life the character of Candela.We are working with a local production company that will take care of the technical aspect, and the project leads will come to Mexico from Miami. Diego Tamayo is one of the directors supporting Eduardo Galavis, said Devana.He said that Rubio sings very well and has a great neutral accent. Vadhir is the son of the famous Mexican actor, comedian and writer Eugenio Derbez. The cast also includes Scarlet Ortiz and Mexican actor Omar Germenos.Music will be the responsibility of Sebastian Mellino, the prestigious producer, composer and coach, creator of many musical works for shows such as Operación Triunfo, American Idol and Disneys Violetta, among others. Nacho (of the duo Chino y Nacho) will be in charge of music composition.Arnaldo Limansky and Hugo Devana are producing the series, with scripts by Patricia Maldonado. Carlos Aguilera is the director of Photography, with art direction by Evelyn Villegas direction of post-production by Alex Hunter.
