Olympusat is working on an important expansion of its edition, restoration, subtitling and dubbing facilities in Mexico. We are in expansion plans and aim to increase the number of films produced monthly to 10 throughout the following 90 days. We currently produce 6 monthly in the urban genre, as well as other film genres, Yeshuah Castillo, the companys director of Original Productions told PRODU. With the expansion, Olympusat personnel in Mexico will increase from around 15 employees to 100 and more than 200 actors available as freelance.In dubbing, they have eight cabins equipped for dubbing 50 hours of weekly content. In restoration, they have 2 stations with capacity for the restoration of 4 films per month. In edition, they have 10 editors for the edition of 4 films per month, and in closed caption and subtitling, they have 2 teams with 25 people each, dedicated to the creation and review of subtitles.With the new facilities, we hope to become leaders in the restoration of films and audiovisual material and compete directly with the most renowned dubbing companies in the market, Castillo expressed. He highlighted that Olympusat´s content library has 600 classic films, from which 300 have already been restored and remastered for a unique experience on the screen.We are working in 35mm and 16mm formats. Our acquisitions are made through purchases or partnership, which means that all our restorations are part of our content catalogue, he explained.
