Olympusat announced the launch of six Hispanic networks across four Comcast markets, including Denver and Salt Lake City on August 17, Tucson on August 26, and the Twin Cities on September 20. The Olympusat networks are now offered as part of Comcasts MultiLatino tier of Spanish-language programming.With the rapid growth of the Hispanic audience in the U.S. and a heightened demand for high-quality, culturally relevant programming, we have focused on doubling our Spanish-language offerings as part of our Xfinity upgrade, said Lars Lofas, Vice President of Product Management for Comcasts West Division.Comcast subscribers in the Twin Cities market, which includes Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minn., will see the addition of five new Olympusat networks to their lineup, which already feature Cine Mexicano. The new additions are Latele Novela Network, ¡Sorpresa!, Gran Cine, Enlace TBN USA, and La Familia Cosmovisión. Salt Lake City also added five new Olympusat networks, including Latele Novela Network, ¡Sorpresa!, Enlace TBN USA, La Familia Cosmovisión and TV Chile. The Salt Lake City market already offered Olympusats Cine Mexicano and Gran Cine.Three networks, Latele Novela Network, La Familia Cosmovisión and TV Chile, also launched in the Denver market where Cine Mexicano, Gran Cine, and ¡Sorpresa! were previously available.
