(Maribel Ramos-Weiner, Baltimore). “The most exciting news is Parables, a full time Christian movie formatted network. We will be bringing movies from around the world to Parables. We’ll also have documentaries, series, and specials. It’s a limited commercial network and it’s available for distribution now. We’ll be launching between Q3 and Q4 time frame but we are securing partnerships now,” recently told an enthusiastic Tim Kelly, VP Sales and Distribution from Olympusat, to PRODU, during The Independent Show in Baltimore.Kelly commented that the new network would have an HD component and also offer on demand. Olympusat is also looking at ways to introduce this network to their Hispanic audience. “We are looking for a Spanish option, whether we do the dubbing in our office in West Palm Beach or whether we provide subtitling first. Now it is a general market channel and we have considerable interest for the network around the world.”{Watch video interview with Tim Kelly from Olympusat;http://www.produ.com/produtv/popup.html?Noti=4436}
