NBCUniversal: We based the programming of Telemundo Internacional in Colombia

During his visit to Bogota, Marcello Coltro, Senior VP Marketing, Creative Services and Digital at NBCUniversal International Networks Latin America, explained that Colombia has become one of the most important markets for the channel, to the extent that they are basing their programming around this country.

“We will have products such as La Ley del Corazón and Sin Senos Sí Hay Paraíso, that will soon have new seasons because they are very attractive for the channel and have additionally allowed us to grow in ratings in a significant way. Likewise, we have grown in terms of advertisers,” commented Coltro.

Good results have enabled the office in Colombia—that started out with 5 people—to now have a team of 54 to cater to the region. “We also developed a research area to know the rating trends and be able to apply this on the screen, social networks, programming and advertising,” he added.
