NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises: NBCU Telemundo is the main place to reach Latinos in the US

Together with NBCUniversal´s upfront presentation, held at the Radio City Music Hall the morning of May 15th, Telemundo and Universo had a feast for their clients and the media, under the slogan of their upfront, Shift Happens, in the Hammerstein Ballroom of The Manhattan Center, that included a private concert of the worldwide pop star Enrique Iglesias.

Before the concert, César Conde, Chairman of NBCUniversal International Group and NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, highlighted in front of the attendees: “A year ago, on this same stage, I mentioned to you that Telemundo was about to redefine Hispanic media. As you have noticed, the change is happening”.

He said that the occasion served to celebrate three big accomplishments. “First, Telemundo is living a historical moment, we are the only Hispanic network that is growing and does so with double digit in primetime season to date. Second, Telemundo is redefining Hispanic media by investing in their community and in original content, and in third place, NBCU Telemundo has become the main place to reach Latinos in the US. We have become the biggest place to find Hispanic and millennials in everything that is digital. When you combine this with our NBCU portfolio, there is simply no other media company in the world that can reach more Hispanics in all the platforms thanks to you and we are very proud of this,” he sentenced.
