For Roxana Rotundo, CEO of VIP 2000 TV, the quarantine confirmed that the most important capital for this business is relationships. Rotundo, who was a guest of #PRODUprimetime with Ríchard Izarra, also took the opportunity to talk about the experience of having had two cochlear implant surgeries due to gradual hearing loss. “I am so grateful to have this opportunity to be here talking with you, of having chaired the first WAWA Open Mic meeting, after not being able to communicate with anybody,” she expressed thrilled.
For Rotundo solidarity in relationships, reputation and friendship are vital. “You can have the best material in the world, but if you don`t have that, you have nothing,” she added.
She mentioned that she currently has two great causes she is passionate about her work with WAWA where she is a member of the board of directors, and being part of the Hearing Loss Association of America. For WAWA, she is looking for ways for the business to continue working, in the absence of physical events such as LA Screenings. And for the Hearing Loss Association, she wishes to generate contents that educate on how to relate with people who have this condition. “It is a goal I set for myself two years ago and I accelerated it with all this virus situation”.
Rotundo reported that they just finished a series of specials titled Latinoamérica En Tiempos de Coronavirus, co-produced with KM from Panama, and the support of eight channels in the region. The trailer will be out next week and the first episode aired in two weeks. Another project is the animated co-production on videogames for the entire family, with their Casablanca partners from Brazil.
