Mentada de Padre had its debut in Mexico with good box office

Mentada de Padre, film directed by Fernando Rovzar and Mark Alazraki, was positioned in the first box office places in Mexico, by collecting, in its launch weekend, 21 million 631 thousand 939 pesos, seen by more than 369 thousand people.
The film was co-produced by three of the big production companies in Mexico, Lemon Films, Alazraki Films, and Traziende Films.
Mentada de Padre is a comedy starring Osvaldo Benavides, Mauricio Isaac, Antonio Gaona, Mauricio Barrientos, Sofía Sisniega, Ximena Romo and Héctor Suárez. It tells the story of don Lauro Márquez Castillo, owner of a Mexican radio empire, who in his deathbed calls his four children to express his last wish, to prove who the real Máruez Castillo is. The brothers will dispute the father´s inheritance in a competition that, one way or another, will change their lives.
