Grup Mediapro’s facilities in Mexico City are the new production center for beIN SPORTS. The group has made available to the channel the human and technical resources necessary to produce its programs, as well as the facilities: a studio, a control room, and six booths.
From the group’s production center, beIN SPORTS narrates about 100 monthly football matches from major events such as the Africa Cup of Nations, the Turkish Super Ligue, the Copa Libertadores in South America, the French Ligue 1 and 2, among other competitions, and the production of sports news programs like The Express. beIN SPORTS will provide broader coverage of local and international sporting events, in Spanish and English, for its beIN SPORTS and XTRA channels in the U.S. and its social media.
Grup Mediapro has a strong presence in Mexico and an extensive track record in content generation and audiovisual services for third parties. The group has two production centers, in Mexico City and Monterrey, with facilities including four studios (300 m2), a remote production room with satellite and fiber connectivity, a teleport, and the latest EVS and Sony technology.
