Mas Ros Media was launched at the beginning of this year by its CEO Marcos Santana and was born by leveraging on the production of content focused on gaming and esports, under a strict sustainable process, and financed by the company itself with resources from venture capitals.
Since its inception, the company committed to producing under strict measures to protect the planet, including its ‘sustainable’ headquarters in Spain. It already has 18 projects in development for gamers and 12 more action and thrillers. To do this, they’re consulting with the company Mrs Green Films, an expert in sustainable production in Spain.
Marcos Santana noted that writers and producers will meet to create projects on a farm located two hours from Barcelona, Spain, where rainwater is recycled, use of well water, and heating through alternative energies, in an old house they are restoring. “It’s not the same to create there, than on a 40th floor, where emissions are generated just by getting, taking the elevator and using the air conditioning.”
“This is the ninth most polluting industry: one day of filming a series can pump to the air the same CO₂ as an entire family of 6 to 8 members in three years,” said Santana, pointing out that everyone has the commitment to contribute to improving the conditions of the planet.
