Mario Kreutzberger on alliance with Telemundo: Now comes a stage of preparation to decide what project will be done first

“This partnership with Telemundo was consolidated in 72 horas, it was a stressful weekend. Now comes a stage of preparation -an entire week- to decide what project we will do first and which next”, expressed to PRODU, Mario Kreutzberger regarding their new alliance with Telemundo.He explained that the partnership has two components, on one hand, to produce content in Miami, and on the other “if someone wants to buy a format for another part of Latin America or the world, in another language, it will be handled as a format delivery and in other cases, the [finished] production will be delivered”.The second alliance component is to work with Telemundo’s news department in carrying out interviews and special programs in a first stage.He stated that during the 72 hours that the negotiation was taking place, he presented a variety of proposals to Telemundo that the network will analyze to determine what they will start with.As well as praising the production work that Telemundo carries out in the US, Kreutzberger also thanked Univision for having given him an opportunity. “I was in Chile’s Canal 13 for 53 years, 30 with Univision and 10 years in parallel with Televisa. The fact of having been able to make a local program and then a national one for Univision for 30 years allowed me to get to know the market personally and grow professionally. Having been in Televisa allowed me to get to Mexico, then to all America and the world. It has been a great learning experience”.
