María Sánchez named SVP, Television Licensing, ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group

María Sánchez has joined ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group as SVP, Television Licensing for Latin America. Based in Miami, and reporting to Lisa Kramer, president of International TV Licensing, Sánchez will lead the Global Distribution team covering Latin America including Brazil and the Caribbean.

Sánchez is an industry veteran, coming from Amazon where she led content strategy for Brazil. Prior to that, she spent over a decade with NBC Universal in a variety of roles including oversight of licensing and channel distribution for both Latin America and Iberia. Before NBCU, Maria oversaw European sales for Alliance Atlantis.
