Marcello Coltro brings to Cisneros Media vast experience in marketing and programming

Marcello Coltro (formerly of Chellomedia) joined Cisneros Media as EVP of Content Distribution.He reports directly to Jonathan Blum, president of Cisneros Media, and will oversee the Pay-TV and Content Distribution divisions of the company.Coltro has 20 years of experience in pay-TV and a solid reputation in the industry.Before joining Cisneros Media, he worked as EVP and COO of AMC overseeing the Advertising, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Digital Media and Research. He was also involved in defining the portfolio of channels and the general programming strategy.In 2013 he was appointed EVP and COO of Chello Latinoamérica after the purchase of this group of MGM Networks Latin America, where he was SVP and CMO since 2008. Previously, he worked as SVP of Sales and CMO of MGM Latinoamérica, after being VP of Sales of Marketing. He joined MGM in 1998.Before MGM, he worked as Latin America Director of Marketing and Programming of Country Music TV, and prior, he held the same title at TVA and DIRECTV Brazil.
