Luis Mario Santoscoy
Luis Mario Santoscoy, the 34-year Televisa veteran, for the past 14 years has worked as general director of Televisa Espectáculos, and for 17 consecutive years has been the general producer of Teletón, the longest live show in the history of Spanish-language TV.In his Televisa San Ángel office in Mexico City, Santoscoy described to PRODU everything from how the 80-person Televisa Espectáculos operation works to deliver around 60 daily stories to the different Televisa shows, to when he joined the company at age 17 as an assistant at the show hosted by Raúl Velasco, Siempre En Domingo, where he learned about entertainment production for TV. He is considered among the producers with the most contacts in the entertainment world.
