Karen Barroeta: Now I am focused on new proposals and projects that excite me a lot
Karen Barroeta, who last November stepped down from her role as Executive Vice President of Production and Development at Telemundo Global Studios and since then has been in a consulting role focused on the production of the original series El Señor de los Cielos season 9, has concluded her chapter with Telemundo.
“I have completed a great cycle of my career at Telemundo, very pleased with the achievements and grateful for the opportunities. Now I am focused on new proposals and projects that excite me a lot. And of course, wishing the best to the network that was my home for more than 20 years,” said Barroeta.
“Karen was a great contributor to Telemundo’s growth as an original content producer. We’re thankful for her unwavering commitment to make Telemundo the number one producer of Spanish-language scripted content in the US. She’s a great professional and we wish her many successes in the next chapter of her career,” said Telemundo to PRODU.
