Kanal D International, the global business arm of Demirören Media Group announced that Kanal D International Networks major Kanal D Drama is on the air in 13 countries by the end of 2020.
Celebrating the 1st birthday in the US, Kanal D Drama is currently broadcasting in 13 countries in West Europe, CEE, LatAm, and the US.
“Kanal D Drama is the first Turkish drama channel established ever and the first channel entered US market with the technical and distribution partnership of THEMA America. After this success in 2019, Kanal D Drama started presenting 24 hours of Turkish Drama in France and Albania in 2020. In addition to Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, Paraguay and Uruguay, Kanal D Drama started broadcasting in France, Albania, and Kosovo in 2020.
In Albania, Kanal D Drama is on air with the co-operation of Albania’s leading media & broadcasting company Tring and started broadcasting on March 31st as a Pay TV channel on Tring platforms. Kanal D Drama is reaching Albanian speaking audience in Albania and Kosovo.
Kanal D Drama started broadcasting in France for Turkish audiences on SFR and free platforms; adding it as the 13th country to the chain.
With its catalog of more than 1,500 hours of Turkish dramas; Kanal D Drama is currently on-air in Albania, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, France, Kosovo, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and the United States.
