Inter Medya will launch at NATPE three recently produced dramas: The Ambassador’s Daughter, The Light of Hope and Ramo. Additionally, they will have Bitter Lands, a series that broke audience records, and formats such as The Perfect Couple, co-developed with DMomento Producciones from Colombia, and Mother in Style, a competition program.
Inter Medya´s investment, development, and alliances strategy aim to continue the expansion towards new territories with a catalog of constantly increasing, high-quality titles.
The Turkish company starts 2020 after an intense 2019, which was a year when they entered businesses investing in high-quality productions. “We are constantly seeking original and inspiring stories that captivate audiences around the world. We are about to announce new projects in cooperation with international production companies. On the other hand, our internal team is working hard to create new entertainment formats,” assured Beatriz Cea Okan, VP and Head of Sales and Acquisitions at Inter Medya.
The Latin American market is, according to Cea Okan, marked by strong competition, but there continues to be interested in Turkish content. “In a few years, we have established ourselves as one of the main Turkish content distributors in the region. Since 2014, we licensed our titles in almost all the territories in Latin America and we are proud to say that almost all our titles achieved excellent ratings, increasing audience levels on the channels in the territories where they were aired,” said the executive.
