Imira Entertainment places Dance Academy on Vme for the U.S. Hispanic market

Imira Entertainment attended Natpe 2012 with agreements already signed with Hispanic channels in the U.S. and Latin America.Vme acquired the fiction series Dance Academy (26×26’) for the U.S. Hispanic market.Additionally, in Mexico, free-TV channel Televisa acquired the animated series The Jungle Book (52×11´+ 1×60´), produced by DQE in association with ZDF German Television Network and ZDF Enterprises GmbH.“Latin America is an important market for our catalog. We are also looking for production partners in the region for our production catalog, as well as new shows for representation in Europe,” said Begoña Esteban, Director of Sales of Imira for Iberia, Latin America, U.S. Hispanic and Central Europe.Imira attended Natpe with a catalog that included a series co-produced by Imira, Televisión de Catalunya, Rai Fiction, and Top Draw Animation, Lucky Fred, which has been sold in over 150 territories. It also included the series Shaftesbury life with Derek, Breakthrough Dino Dan, DQE and ZDF’s The Jungle Book, and the second season of Dance Academy.
