iKaBron Productions is working on several projects at the same time, including a lifestyle program, hosted by Alfonso “Poncho” de Anda, the iKaBron Online laboratory and an animated original series with Discovery Latin America for their digital platform.
De Anda, the company´s Content and Business director highlighted that the aim of this program is to be able to increase the traditional 30-minute linear TV format to an hour and then take the audience to social networks, “where we show the material that we couldn’t place on the linear program. I think this is what channels are currently aiming at.”
For his part, Jorge Otero, creative director of iKaBron Productions, said that the animated series is intended for children ages 5 to 9. “The purpose of the series is to instill values and unleash creativity. It consists of 10 episodes (3 minutes each) that may be extended to linear TV.”
Regarding iKaBron Online, de Anda commented: “We have a non-linear TV laboratory that started operations right now. The aim is to bring new communicators to this format that is a hybrid between traditional TV and social networks. We are going to use YouTube, Facebook, and Internet to run live content.”
“We have purchased state-of-the-art technology that allows us to make live broadcasts with four and five cameras, and even remote broadcasts. We can also incorporate broll and make calls on Skype full HD,” added Otero.
