¡HOLA! TV will increase the number of hours of original productions and acquisitions and will explore new genres in 2020.
“We are going to explore new genres. On one hand, we recover the genre of the interview, which we had left aside in the last few years, with a weekly program and, on the other, we are attracting new content in other genres, such as health, and driving the topic of the wedding. Content in 2020 is going to be very rich and varied,” expressed Marcos Pérez, General Manager of the signal.
According to Pérez, 2019 had a positive balance for the channel in terms of distribution growth as well as in contents and audiences. “In May 2019, we launched Coronas y Palacios that was a true hit as a program on weekends,” he mentioned.
In audiences, they noticed growth near two digits in Mexican territory among women with acquisition power that is ¡HOLA! TV´s main target.
