Hogar Star de HGVT
Design dreams come true in Hogar Star, an all-new series where design and home décor experts compete to win their very own Hogar de HGTV show. Adapted from the long-running successful HGTV series, HGTV Design Star, Hogar Star is the latest title from the collaboration between Hogar de HGTV and Lowe’s, the network’s exclusive home improvement partner.
Set to debut on Monday, September 13 at 9pm ET/PT, these contestants will have to do it all – from modern minimalism to offbeat eclectic, to all-out glam – to prove that they possess the design and aesthetic aptitude and grace-under-fire personality to become a future face of Hogar de HGTV.
Hosted by well-known presenter and architect Claudia Bahamon, Hogar Star begins with eight unique Hispanic designers from across the United States, whose passion, point-of-view, and raw talent have earned them respect and loyal clientele. Their skills and grit will be tested in each hour-long episode, as they face fiercely competitive and daunting design challenges while navigating tight timeframes and razor-thin budgets. Using their creativity, know-how, and a can-do attitude, they put it all on the line to stay in the game by impressing the discerning panel judges: Mexican architect Alexis Elias; Colombian interior and furniture designer Adriana Hoyos; and Chilean presenter, realtor, and designer Felipe Viel.
This five-part series will also air on Discovery Familia and will be available to mobile and streaming viewers via the Discovery Familia GO app. Additionally, fans will be able to tune into the first and last episode on Hogar de HGTV’s Facebook Page.
