HITN announced the highest viewership yet for its Tu Planeta block this quarter, reflecting the special interest of Hispanic audiences in programming dedicated to raising environmental awareness.
Spanish-language viewership of HITN’s Tu Planeta block, which includes programs such as África Salvaje, Mundo Salvaje with Ron Magill, Vida Salvaje and Mundo Naturalfueled the network’s highest delivery in October compared to the previous six months.
“Hispanic audiences, on our network and our app, are showing increased interest in Tu Planeta, which presents a wide range of productions that are educational, interesting and entertaining for the entire family. The Tu Planeta block consistently delivers top numbers for the network, showing the interest among Hispanics for high-quality content focused on nature and the environment,” explained Erika Vogt Lowell, HITN’s director of Programming and Acquisitions.
“We are pleased with the great acceptance and ratings performance of Tu Planeta. HITN seeks to improve the quality of life of the Hispanic population by presenting content and information that can make a difference. As part of this effort, we place great importance on promoting conservation and respect for the natural world, especially among new generations,” remarked Guillermo Sierra, the network’s Head of Programming and Digital Services.
Tu Planeta airs on HITN during primetime from Monday to Sunday at 7pm Eastern/11pm Pacific.
