HITN offers live transmission of Mexico’s bicentennial Independence celebration

In honor of Mexico’s bicentennial Independence Celebration, September 15, Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network (HITN) will offer live broadcast directly from Mexico of official events and festivities starting at 7pm ET/4pm PT.“We are pleased to bring this historical celebration to our viewers in the U.S, this is an important celebration for Mexicans and all Latinos as well,” said Florentina Balseca, HITN´s Programming Director.“Events like this unite Latinos no matter where they come from,” added Ricardo Sternbach, HITN´s Director of Marketing and Sales.The schedule of events will include the traditional ceremony of El grito, a parade, and music performances.
