Televisa kicked off production on location in Mexico City of the remake of Yo No Creo En Los Hombres (120×60), now produced by Giselle González. It stars Adriana Louvier and Gabriel Soto. Premiering September 1st, it is an original story by Caridad Bravo Adams with adaptation by Aída Guajardo.After 23 year at Televisa, this is the first telenovela produced independently by González, who used to work in tandem with Roberto Gómez Fernández. It is a great opportunity for me and despite it being a remake, whats important is to tell the story well. We produced a traditional melodrama with lots of love and passion, said González.She says the telenovela will deal with the role of todays woman, her struggle to get ahead, the harassment still endured in some work situations and especially her romantic disappointments. Our protagonist was brought up with values and is victim of the story shes forced to live.The leading actors were present at the location at Santa María La Rivera neighborhood in Mexico City. They were joined by other members of the cast, including Alejandro Camacho, Azela Robinson, Juan Carlos Colombo, Sophie Alexander, Flavio Medina Fabiola Guajardo, Rosa María Bianchi, Cecilia Toussaint and Pedro Tavira.The original 1991 story was produced by Lucy Orozco and starred Gabriela Roel and Alfredo Adame.
