The French network France 24 will launch its version in Spanish in Latin America. Colombia, Argentina and Mexico will be the first countries to have the content of this signal starting in September.
“The idea is to make a TV channel similar to the one we have in French, English and Arabian, but now in Spanish, with two hours of distribution in the morning and four in the afternoon. We will have analysts from Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela, and all nationalities, to conform a complete and neutral vision on Latin America. It will be available in HD, starting September 26 in Colombia, on the 28 in Argentina, and for November in Mexico,” commented Oliver Mortier, Distribution Director of France 24 in Latin America and the Caribbean.
He highlighted that, together with the launch of this version in Spanish, they will launch the multimedia france24.com platform, a website that will allow the version in direct and in deferred.
“France 24 is not only an information channel, it is also information analysis through culture,” he highlighted.
The signal will have six hours of programming in Spanish per day, which will be complemented with programs in other languages. The broadcast will benefit distribution agreements that have been concluded for the versions in French and English of this network in Latin America.
