France 24 in Spanish continues its expansion in Latin America, after the signing of a new agreement with the main Panamanian cable operator Cable Onda, for the distribution of the channel in its “Combo Pack HD” (channel 1330). This agreement allows the channel to be accessible to 133,000 additional homes in the Central American country.

“France 24´s goal is to cover the greatest population possible. Cable Onda is the leading subscription television operator in Panama and this agreement enables France 24 to considerably increase its coverage from 50,000 to 185,000 homes, which represents approximately 1/3 of the total number of pay-TV subscribers,” states Eric Cremer, Distribution VP at France 24.

With their presence in Panama in Spanish and English, and also through the offer of Cable & Wireless and Claro TV Panamá́, France 24 strengthens its presence in Latin America, currently reaching nearly 8 million homes.
