FOX Deportes' team for Super Bowl LI

FOX Deportes’ Super Bowl LI presentation recorded an average audience of 1.1 million viewers on the network and FOX Sports GO.  

Sunday’s game delivered 650,000 viewers, making it the most-watched Super Bowl presentation and most-watched non-soccer event in Spanish-language cable history, according to Nielsen Media Research.

On FOX Sports GO, the Patriots’ historic comeback attracted 450,000 unique viewers, making it the most live-streamed Super Bowl ever in Spanish.

Viewership built throughout the game and peaked at 911,000 Total Viewers from 9:45-10pm ET as Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady led the New England Patriots to the team’s fifth Super Bowl victory, defeating the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 in the first ever Super Bowl to go into overtime. The game posted a viewership increase of +38% over last year’s game (472,000), which was televised on ESPN Deportes.

FOX Deportes’ social media platforms reached 2.2 million total engagements Super Bowl week, a +1013% increase from Super Bowl XLVIII.

FOX Deportes now holds the record for the three highest-rated non-soccer events and two highest-rated Super Bowls in Spanish-language cable history: Super Bowl LI on FOX Deportes holds the Spanish-language cable record for the highest rated non-soccer event and most-watched Super Bowl presentation with 650,000 viewers; Game 7 of the 2016 World Series on FOX Deportes delivered 565,000 viewers and ranks as the second highest-rated non-soccer event and FOX Deportes’ Super Bowl XLVIII telecast, the first ever Super Bowl in Spanish in the U.S., ranks second among Super Bowls and third among non-soccer events with 561,000 viewers.
