FilmSharks obtained the rights for the global sales of the documentary on Diego Maradona, La Muerte de Dios. “After a ferocious war of offers, we are delighted to have closed this deal with such a powerful and unparalleled story,” commented Guido Rud, from FilmSharks.
The documentary, which is already in post-production and will be available during the second quarter of the year, will be part of the FilmSharks offer in Berlin and some images will be screened during the EFM.
La Muerte de Dios was written, directed, and narrated by Iván Kasanzew, former sports presenter of Univision, and it is produced by Dos Flamingos Production. It talks about the impact of the stardom of the legendary player as he headed towards an increasingly destructive behavior.
