Televisa has announced that Fernando Muñiz is the new executive director of Televisa Internacional since January 1st, and will be in the next edition of Natpe in Miami in 2019.
The executive will make his debut at Natpe, which he will attend together with Patricio Wills, whom he reports to since he assumed his new position in the company.
Televisa Internacional, led by Muñiz, is taking to the event Televisa Estudios´ most recent content portfolio, among which stand out Fábrica de Sueños, El Último Dragón, Por Amar Sin Ley, Amar a Muerte, Doña Flor y Sus 2 Maridos and Sin Miedo a la Verdad.
Fábrica de Sueños is one of the main bets, since in short 25-episode series they are seeking to revive the channel´s iconic and historical telenovelas, such as Cuna de Lobos, La Usurpadora, El Maleficio, Rubí, Colorina, Los Ricos También Lloran, Rosa Salvaje, Corona de Lágrimas, Quinceañera, El Privilegio de Amar and Corazón Salvaje.
For his part, El Último Dragón is another big bet, due to the production level and quality this series is being made with. It has been shot in different locations in Japan, Spain, the US, and Mexico. The 82-episode series stars Sebastián Rulli, Renata Notni and Irina Baeva.
