The Switch Ginger Fashion One

Fashion One, a signal that distributes Condista, announces the launch of The Switch on their screen at a global scale. It is the first time a dramatic series, telenovela-style, launches on a theme channel. The series has 10 episodes.

“Traditionally, theme channels, whether cuisine, travel or lifestyle, are centered in realities, competitions or tutorials, but not in dramatic series, which is why we are pleased to take The Switch to Fashion One. We took Yoss, a millennial youtuber, to the TV media. That is something truly revolutionary,” commented Ali Gursoy, General Director of Fashion One Group.

The Switch follows the life of Yoseline (Yoss) Hoffman, a famous Mexican blogger who travels to try her luck in the fashion industry in Manhattan after her great success on social networks. Yoss decides to shoot a travel blog before going back home and meets Ginger (Xin Wang), a fashion photographer who hides behind the mask of La Diva. Ginger, tired of her work agenda, quits her job and offers Yoss a deal: to exchange lives for a week, which radically shifts their lives forever.

Yoss is a social media hit in Mexico, well-known for her YosStop and JuStYosS channels on YouTube, where she posts daily sketches, blogs, and parodies for 8.8 million followers. Additionally, she has more than 10 million followers on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and as an actress has been on TV Azteca, TVC and Canal 11.
