Sports streaming platform Fanatiz made a series of announcements including the unveiling of a new web platform and brand identity, enhancing features for sports enthusiasts. Since the canceling and postponement of a variety of soccer and sports seasons due to COVID-19, Fanatiz has been working hard to enhance the platform’s features, revamping its brand and user interface across devices in preparation for the return of some of its best live soccer later this month.
In addition to the release of the new branding – which will be available in the coming weeks on Amazon Fire TV and Roku – Fanatiz is expanding accessibility with the launch of its first free offering, Freemium, boasting a wide variety of soccer channels complete with highlights, interviews, documentaries and more. Fans will be able to access free content and soccer channels, including Real Madrid TV in Spanish and Sevilla TV (available only on Fanatiz in the U.S.), For the Fans, XtremFootball, and Todo Noticias.
Fanatiz also announced its availability on Android TV, which signals the arrival of Fanatiz to Smart TVs without the need for external devices. This allows consumers who own Sony, Sharp, Skyworth, Nvidia, Xiaomi, JBL, Hisense or Philips devices to download the app directly to their Smart TV.
“Today marks an exciting day in the evolution of our business. Though the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic are far-reaching and have touched us all, we’ve been working hard to continue improving our service and the experience we offer to our clients. Just like the players and sports, we love most; our work never sleeps, and we’re excited to share this new platform for fans eager to restart the soccer season with a bang. We’re also excited to welcome new fans to the ‘World’s Largest Stadium’,” said Matías Rivera, Fanatiz Founder & CEO.
