EstrellaTV announced today that it will be simultaneously launching local newscasts in the Houston, Dallas, and Miami markets.
Effective April 29, EstrellaTV will launch two new local newscasts in Houston, Dallas, and Miami in the late afternoon and at night. The newscasts will be under the direction of seasoned journalist and news director Rubén Olague with a full team of local multimedia journalists in every market.
Olague’s 30+ year experience in the area of broadcast journalism dates back to his early years in radio with Liberman Broadcasting’s Radio Noticias 930 and includes successful career stints with CNN, CBS, Televisa, and Univision.

Carolina Sulbarán and Rubén Olague will anchor Miami’s Noticias 8 5pm and 11pm newscasts and Houston’s Noticias 61 4pm and 10pm newscasts.
Carolina Pereira and Olague will anchor the Dallas’ Noticias 29 4pm and 10pm local newscasts.
