ESPN has promoted Alfonso Cueto to VP of Multimedia Sales in Miami. In his new role, Cueto is now responsible for ESPN’s Ad Sales Multicultural Initiatives coming from the Miami office, with a focus on the US Hispanic market.

In addition to his new responsibilities, he will continue leading the Latin American Pan Regional advertising deals that come from outside of Latin America, with a strong focus toward the Miami pan regional market and the UK, as well as ESPN’s local ad sales efforts in Central America, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, and the Caribbean.

With his expanded, dual market role, Cueto will lead the Miami team to grow opportunities between the domestic and international markets while maximizing ESPN’s US ad sales structure. His ESPN Deportes and US Hispanic duties expand to not only Miami, but the rest of Florida up to Washington DC and West all the way through Texas.

Cueto joined ESPN in 2001 as Sales Planner for ESPN Latin America. Throughout the years, he has been promoted to Account Executive, then director before being promoted to VP in 2016. Prior to becoming VP of Multimedia Sales for ESPN, Cueto was a senior director of Multimedia Ad Sales for ESPN International.
