ESPN Deportes: Our mission is to be a sports company, not simply a channel

“Since its birth, ESPN’s mission was to be a sports company, not just a sports channel,” said Óscar Ramos, Senior Content Director for ESPN Deportes, during the meeting with Hispanic media at ESPN’s headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut. 

This is about creating the best content possible, how fans consume it is secondary, highlights Ramos.

“Our mission has always been not to focus on being a TV or digital company, but a sports company that produces and provides the best content possible,” he emphasized.
