In anticipation of the 2012 Caribbean World Series, ESPN Deportes honors “El Duque” for his commitment to the community and El Duke Sports FoundationOn behalf of ESPN Deportes, Carolina Guillén and Enrique Rojas recognized Orlando “El Duque” Hernández for his involvement in the community, and commitment to El Duke Sports Foundation. ESPN Deportes took this opportunity to commemorate the distinguished baseball player with a donation of baseball equipment for talented Little League players.Surrounded by his Little League, El Duque dedicated their new season to the 2012 Caribbean Series starting February 2 through 7 on ESPN Deportes. “Our league will move to the rhythm of the Caribbean,” said Hernández.El Duque and his Little League welcomed the 2012 World Caribbean Series honoring the participating countries and highlighting the importance it represents for the Latino community.
