High Noon Latino recently placed on Discovery en Español the reality series Taller De Vaca, to be shot in Guadalajara, Mexico in partnership with Drako Media.Taller De Vaca is a co-production with Drako Media about a limousine mechanic garage. Its eight one-hour episodes that will be a lot of fun, said Erika Navarrete, senior director of Development for U.S. Hispanic and Latin America of High Noon Latino. This unit is also producing other projects, among them a makeover show for small businesses, a reality with a Miami Beach celebrity and La Familia De Charrería, about a family in the Mexican rodeo business in California.Weve created a lot of buzz with our shows but we dont have other solid deals to announce yet, said Navarrete. She mentioned that for general market they have several concepts in the works: one about sweet fifteens (quinceañeras), and a scripted comedy series about a family that moves to Los Angeles and experiences culture shock. We have many projects and ideas still in development. Because we have this unit at High Noon Latino, we develop formats for the general market and then we dub them to Spanish, to see if we can get them out to the Hispanic market and Latin America, added Navarrete. The company has a survival format that is being launched simultaneously for the general market and U.S. Hispanic.
